I used a range of materials to apply and remove ink, such as: intaglio AKUA ink, scrim cloth, newsprint, as well as the etching press, which is different to a lino press that you would use for lino prints.
This is my etching of the Trinacria. It is the symbol of Sicily and means 'three points'. The three legs represent the three capes of Sicily.
The problem with this print wasn't actually to do with how I inked it; It was the printing press. The press was extremely loose which ruined my print. I immediately fixed the press. Size A4.
