Angelo Milioto
I am Angelo Milioto, I'm currently a Year 8 pupil at Bedford Prep School.
I have enjoyed drawing ever since I was able to write. In school, I would draw whenever I was allowed, and I enjoyed to see what my friends had made as well. I even draw before bed, though the pad that I would normally use is sadly full now. When my friends would visit, or I visit them, I'd always bring a drawing pad and pencil case to mix our ideas and convey our thoughts. To be honest, I was never interested in any particular artist, only in my own ability. At home, you can always find me doodling with a video in the backround, though, most of my doodles were just drawn for fun, or as an exercise, and they were made without the intent of being shared.
Since 2023 I have been engaged in Year 7 Art Enrichment which has involved attending a weekly activity after school. Here I have learned to develop my skills by using various materials and and techniques such as lino printmaking, clay, etching plastics as well as detailed pencil drawings defining light, tone and shading. My favourite assignment was the lino self portrait you will see on a different page.
My preferences are drawing 2D pieces. I love to draw my thoughts and ideas and it's my dream to draw characters for video games or for my own graphic novel one day.
